If you work in marketing and want to speak to an expert about the actions you need to take to get your business GDPR ready, then this event is for you.
At the next Digital Gaggle meet-up, you’ll have the chance to learn from (and put your very own questions to) Rowenna Fielding. She’s Data Protection Consultant at Protecture and defines herself as a ‘Governance Geek’ who also sits on the committee of the National Association of Data Protection and Freedom of Information Officers. She’s kind of a big deal.
Rowenna will help you understand the do’s and dont’s of the new legislation, explain what you can do in the lead up to the change, and help bust some myths which you may have heard over the past few months about the new regulations.
There’ll be a Q&A with Rowenna after her talk where you can get answers on all of your GDPR questions too. That’s right – tailored advice from an actual expert – HUZZAH!
As usual, your ticket gets you pizza, fries and a drink. Lovely jubbly.
Rowenna is a self-confessed privacy nerd and Information Governance geek who began her IG career by coming out of the IT server room and taking an interest in information security, before broadening her horizons to include the other data protection principles as well.
In the daytime, Rowenna works as a Data Protection consultant and due to being unable to leave information governance behind at the office at the end of the day, is also on the executive committee of the National Association of Data Protection and Freedom of Information Officers (NADPO) as well as being a member of a variety of professional associations related to privacy, information security and records management. Rowenna holds the ISEB Certificate in Data Protection and the IDM GDPR Award.
Tickets purchased for Digital Gaggle are non-refundable.
Sure – just let us know the day before so we can sort out the name badge.
Doors open at 5.30pm, food comes out at 6pm (pizza, fries – yum) with the talk starting at 6.30pm. We’ll finish up with a Q&A and everything will be wrapped up by 8pm at the latest.
